Super hero girl; fearless and equiped

fearlessEquiped Super hero girl; fearless and equipedI was a bit sad to miss last-week topic for Illustration Friday (Fearless) but strangely, this week topic (Equipment) is also a fit for my original idea.  I have been juggling with the idea of doing a super-hero-girl for a while, mostly because I just could not answer when my boy asked me “What is your favorite super hero-woman?”…. humm…. Bionic Woman? Wonder Woman? Geeee… so much for actual female hero’s… well there is Alice in Resident Evil but he is not allowed to watch that movie. So I had no answer for him.I tried to imagine a more modern-super-hero-girl . And I love martial art, and mostly the Saï !!  I think she is ready to fight. Girls need super hero’s too!!!

I love your girl. As for super hero women I think my favourite would be Electra or perhaps River from Serenity! I just love the collage feel of your work, beautiful.

I remember these conversations with my son, I always had to be the pink power ranger! Now he’s old enough to know Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. Your super hero is ace, she looks cool and hard!
