Slither: To move or slide or cause to move or slide unsteadily, as on a slippery surface. I am kind of playing with words here. I just had to make this week subject (IF) about all the dramatic oil spill in in the gulf of Mexico. All these birds covered with oil makes me sad, and I admit it, a bit angry. I guess my illo says it all.

Slither: Glisser, déraper. Le thème d’ Illustration Friday (IF) de cette semaine m’a tout de suite fait penser au déversement tragique de pétrole dans le golfe du Mexique. Ca me rend triste, et un peu en colère aussi. Alors voici mon illustration pour cette semaine.

The reality of it all is too awful to fully comprehend. I would like to see your bird drown the guy in the suit! This makes a strong statement.

Amazing work lady. I too am so upset and heartbroken over this spill. Irritates me even more when we are realizing day by day that they didn’t really have a plan for this at all. Insanity. I hope a successful resolution is found quickly. Beautiful work, nonetheless.
