Lust – Luxure

When I saw that this week Collage obcession challenge was Lust, one of the seven deadly sins, I had to try to come up with something. We also could include the photo of that strange dude smiling…  he reminded me of a Carnival host, made him also look a bit like the Joker. Will try to do all 7 sins … wish me luck (not Lust!) hehehe.  ——-

Quand j’ai vu que le thème de cette semaine de Collage Obcession Challenge était la Luxure, un des Septs Péchés Capitaux, je me suis dit que je devais essayer ce “challenge”, et pourquoi pas faire les 7 péchés… voici donc le premier de la série. PS On pouvait inclure la photo de l’homme au sourire étrange et j’ai tout de suite pensé aux anciennes foires ambulantes, les carnavals et leurs maîtres de cérémonies. Dans le domaine de l’étrange, ca fonctionne assez bien je trouve.

    Thanks for the nice words, Eila A., Soindelmaker and itKuPiLLi! I really enjoyed this theme… cant wait for another of the 7 deadly sins… it’s interesting to go on the “dark” side, sometimes (illustration wise, of course) :)

    What a devious creeper. I like that she has no face. He looks more than lusty. He looks murderous and up to something.

    I know… scary guy, is he not?… and yeah, I too like the fact that her face is the “lust” sign. She can be anybody. Lost in lust.

    This guy is really creepy! Obsession and lust are both represented in your work. I think the colors you used enhance your collage even more. I have not good feeling about this guy!!

    Funny, when in the grip of lust we seldom notice the sleazy joker/carnivale man at the curtain … beckoning us on with his creepy visage. Only when viewed from a distance do we see the sin playing out. Gorgeous collage Isabelle :-)
