Ferocious – féroce

ferocious lrs Ferocious féroce

A late entry for “Ferocious“… I had this idea for a long time in the back of my mind. I love the idea of infinitely small gnomes running around at night and hiding under plants and mushrooms. Hiding from the cats, of course. Cats are not ferocious… unless you are the size of a mouse.

Thank you Fizzy! Gnomes are just the cutest thing… makes me think of Amelie…
I dream of traveling again soon, so maybe illustrating a gnome will help. Who knows.

Actually, i find gnomes a bit frightening … maybe that’s from being a forest animal myself.
I love the slightly eerie atmosphere in your pictures.

Artisjokken… it IS your world. And mine too…sometimes. I guess it’s where we all meet. :)

Greendeer: I love deers. We use to live in the woods, in the mountains…and it was not rare to hear (and then see) them walk by our house. Beautiful animal …so graceful and pretty.

Oooohhh I like those stark yellow eyes.

I have dreams like this. Not where I am small, per say, but where I am evading a seemingly unstoppable force.

    Eerie.

I can’t decide if the look on the gnomes face is concern and worry or just casual discomfort as he awaits for the nuisance to go away.

Oh, fantastic!! Combines many of my favorite things: cats, gnomes, mushrooms, forests, & spookiness (not to mention mad artistic skillz)!

Mr. Cat, please look the other way. (I suggest Mr. Gnome plant some catnip nearby– it would provide a welcome distraction.)

J’adore les chats d’ailleurs nous en avons deux, mais je ne les vois pas aussi féroces quoiqu’ils peuvent facilement le devenir

I love how the little red-hatted gnome ( I always side with the little guy) just jumps off the page! Wonderful story line. My cat used to bring home presents from her hunting expeditions – but never a gnome!
