Holidays are getting closer… and it’s now a tradition, each year we do this great promo with my agent, Anna Goodson (AGM), the coasters!! We send those to all our clients; Art directors of magazines, news-papers an advertising agencies, all over the world. They just arrived and sorry if I am a bit biased but they all look AMAZING!!
This year theme is “The Circus”…was so fun to think of an idea for this theme!! So here is mine… hope you like it!
—– C’est une tradition pour les artistes représentés par mon agente, Anna Goodson (AGM), les sous-verres!! Ils sont envoyés aux clients, Directeurs artistiques de magazines et d’agences de pub, partout sur la planète. Ils sont arrivés et je m’excuse à l’avance si je suis un petit peu biaisée… mais ils sont tous INCROYABLES!!
Cette année le thème est “Le Cirque”… vraiment chouette d’imaginer un concept pour ce thème. Voici donc le mien, j’espère que vous aimerez!

Sometimes the people that are the closest to us, we tend to forget! But we shouldn’t!! Just want to post here a small tribute to my agent: Anna Goodson! She is now celebrating her 15th birthday (AGM, the agency-that is). And I feel always so privilege to be part of such an amazing team. She has been my rep for about 13 years now!!
It’s been a wild ride, she started very small and grew up to be that well known international agency that everyone now know (or must know! ) representing amazing illustrators from around the globe: Pablo, Andy Potts, Moira Millman, Laura Pérez, Violet Lemay, Mario Wagner… and the list goes on. So this is just a small tribute to a rep that keeps me busy with work (I don’t mind really)… a rep that is passionate about what she does (and that’s probably why she is so good at it)… a rep I really appreciate and love: Miss Anna Goodson!!

Il arrive trop souvent qu’on oublie les personnes qui sont pourtant les plus près de nous. Je voulais remercier mon agente (en cette belle journée spécialement).. Anna Goodson (AGM). Elle fête présentement son 15e anniversaire (l’agence, pas elle… hihi).
J’ai l’honneur d’être représenté par cette agence depuis 13 ans maintenant. Une agence qui a commencé petite, et qui représente maintenant des illustrateurs de renommée internationale tel que: Katy Lemay, Nathalie Dion, Lino, Janice Nadeau, Eva Tatcheva et beaucoup d’autres. Au fil des ans elle est devenue bien plus qu’une agente, c’est maintenant une amie que j’apprécie et que j’aime beaucoup. Cheers Miss Goodson!

As for the past years, the gang of wonderful illustrators (and moi) are doing this great Christmas promo: Coasters!! Thanks to my agent Anna Goodson (AGM) who always come up with fun themes for this special promo. This year we are going back in time, yep, it ‘s the -ho so great TV series- Mad men and the 1950′s and 1960′s. Watch out Don Draper!!

Comme par les années passées, mon agente Anna Goodson (AGM) fait cette super promo pour les temps des fêtes!! Des sous-verres!! Cette année le thème est inspiré d’une série que j’aime un peu, beaucoup, énormément – Mad Men et donc les années 50 et 60. Prend garde Don Draper!!

illustration for the 2007 coaster promo - Birthday
Pick of the week on IF!!! Whoooo hoooo!! I know, I am a kid!!!! Ho and my kid is turning 8 this week… geee… time is flying. But what a great ride!! I will have to look into my illustration vault and see if any illustration fits this topic!! Ok I have found one… this was done for our annual AGM promo (with my agent), we send out these coasters to art directors each years and they are greatly appreciated. That year’s theme was “Birthday”/”Celebrate” (it was in 2007). Happy Birthday Christian!! I am so proud of you, you are such an amazing boy.

Yeah!! Mon illo a été choisit pour le “Pick of the week” sur Illustration Friday! Je suis comme un enfant… c’est vraiment chouette! De plus c’est la fête à mon garcon… déjà 8 ans, que ca va vite!! J’ai fouillé dans mes archives et j’ai trouvé cette illustration (2007) fait pour mon agente (AGM) pour notre promo annuelle de sous-verres. Cette année là le thème était “La fête”, “Célébration” ou quelque chose du genre (mémoire mémoire!) … enfin bref, ca “fit” super bien ma semaine! Bonne fête Christian!! Je suis tellement fière de toi, tu es un garcon formidable et je suis la plus chanceuse des mamans.

Ok I am soooo late in my news, that I am posting my coaster promo from December (guilty face here).
Yes it is February… and yes I am so late to post this. But I have good reasons (we always do, right??)…More news to come.. and no I am not pregnant. Ho… about the coaster… theme for this year was “The 60′s and the 70′s. All of the wonderful illustrators at AGM came upe with beautiful concepts and ideas. Such a wonderful group of people.

Bien oui je suis en retard pis pas à peu près… je colle ici le sous-verre (promo) que j’ai fais pour Décembre (rouge de gène, c’est possible?) Car bien oui c’est déjà Février et la follie des coeurs à chaque Dollorama du coin. Mais j’ai de bonnes raisons pour ne pas avoir mis à jour mon site (ouais on en a tous/toutes, pas vrai?) Et non je ne suis pas enceinte, car oui ca serait l’ultime raison! Bon pour le sous-verre, le thème était “Les années 60′ et 70. Chaque illustrateurs d’AGM ont fait de superbes illustrations sur ce thème. Un groupe formidable que celui de mon agente.
